Environmental Commitment

Conference Eastbourne is committed to making continuous improvement by reducing the environmental impact of our facilities and products.  We have demonstrated this with the following:-

• Use of local suppliers where possible to minimise carbon footprint.

• All waste at the venue is segregated for recycling.  Bins for delegates and staff are labelled recyclable and non-recyclable.

• The venue encourages delegates to use public transport or car share to reduce transport related environmental impact.

• As a venue we are continuously identifying ways to reduce the amount of energy consumed.

• Conference Eastbourne (Lewes District Council & Eastbourne Borough Council) has committed to do all that it can to reduce carbon emissions to net zero by 2030 and Eastbourne Carbon Neutral 2030 (ENC2030) has been launched to tackle this.
