A members organisation, such as the EHA, aims to deliver as many benefits to all tiers of membership, with the aspiration of giving a greater return on investment (ROI) than the membership fee.

It has been our goal to increase benefits and your Exec Committee is still working on added benefits and will continue to do so.

• Discounted rates for Visit Eastbourne Guide & Web
• Primary Authority Membership – covering EHO, Fire and Trading Standards consultations
• Personal Representation for any business-related issues which we will endeavour to resolve to the members benefit
• Recommended Trade members, with Special offers.
• Representation at a local, regional, and national level
• Social Events
• A seat on the board for the development of the Eden Project
• A seat on the board with the joint co-operation of Eastbourne Borough Council, Chamber of Commerce, Visit Eastbourne, the BID and MP (where appropriate)
• Enhanced communications in the event of an incident or national crisis

Aspired future Benefits:

1. Lobbying the Government for a 5% VAT rate for our industry
2. Reducing commissions from Visit Eastbourne due to our investment and partnership
3. Ring fencing revenues into Visit Eastbourne for future tourism projects to benefit members and visitors
4. Further expansion with increased membership and revenues to commence other tourism related projects as voted and consulted on by you, the members.
