EHA Celebrates 100 Years with a Gala Dinner at The Grand

On Thursday 4th April 2025, the Eastbourne Hospitality Association marked its 100th anniversary with a gala dinner at The Grand Hotel. Members, past members, past presidents, and special guests gathered to celebrate a century of hospitality excellence in Eastbourne.

The evening began with a drinks reception, followed by a delicious three-course dinner and live music from Sound of the Crowd, who kept the dancefloor buzzing well into the night.

We were honoured to welcome several VIP guests, including Josh Babarinde OBE MP, Councillor Stephen Holt, Councillor Christina Ewbank, and The Mayor of Eastbourne, all of whom have shown long-standing support for local tourism and the hospitality sector.

Guests also enjoyed a charity raffle and a light-hearted game, with all proceeds going to the Friends of Eastbourne Seafront, a local group dedicated to enhancing and protecting our beautiful seafront.

It was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the EHAs proud history, honour those who have helped shape Eastbourne’s hospitality story, and look ahead to a vibrant future.
