New Beachy Head Story Exhibition Gift Shop Opens With Range of Locally Sourced Products

On Monday 12 April the brand new Beachy Head Story exhibition gift shop opened it’s doors offering visitors locally sourced products and possibly even a sneak peek of the brand new adjoining exhibition being finalised – however visitors will have to wait until the official opening in May to see the full exhibition!
Eastbourne Borough Council Head of Tourism and Enterprise, Annie Wills said “We are so pleased that the recent opening of non-essential retail has allowed us to welcome visitors to our newly refurbished Beachy Head Story exhibition gift shop!
The locally inspired, environmentally conscious products and gifts have been hand-picked to complement the exhibition and surrounding area and feature a range of unique products, including two exclusive blends of loose leaf tea from well-known local brand Bird and Blend which have been inspired by the Downs and the sea.
Visitors can also enhance their visit to Beachy Head with our carefully selected range of books and nature watching guides, for children and adults, on a range of topics including the local area, nature and environment.”
Products available to purchase include a unique range featuring incredible artwork by local artist Ellie Fryer, whose painted murals throughout the Beachy Head Story exhibition have been greatly influenced by the surrounding area; honey, jams and other produce from local, family run business Paynes Southdown Bee Farm and a variety of soaps and scented candles made locally and ethically.
The Beachy Head Story exhibition gift shop is located on Beachy Head Road and open daily between 9am – 5pm, with extended opening times in the summer months.
