Where to play: There are many courts in Eastbourne that you are able to book and play for free or a small fee. Fishermans Green Royal Parade, Hampden Park, Manor Gardens, Old Town Recreation Ground and The Tennis Cafe at The Goffs.
Fisherman's Green Tennis Court
Fisherman's Green is a great location for tennis on the seafront near Treasure Island. Featuring 4 renovated tarmac tennis courts and 2 full size basketball courts in addition to 1 smaller basketball court, it's a great place for a set or two of tennis before shooting some hoops.
The tennis courts are available to book up to 14 days in advance.
Manor Gardens Tennis Court
Manor Gardens is a beautiful leafy location in Eastbourne's Gildredge Park featuring 2 renovated tarmac tennis courts.
Available to book up to 14 days in advance for annual pass holders or up to 7 days in advance for Pay and Play, access is through a booking system with key entry code for the secure gate.
Old Town Recreation Ground
Longland Road Recreation Ground is a perfect location for tennis in Old Town. Featuring 4 newly refurbished tennis courts ideal for either a casual game of tennis or challenge them to a match or two.
Hampden Park
Hampden Park Tennis Club is located in the delightful area of Hampden Park in Eastbourne, surrounded by Decoy Wood and Ham Shaw where a variety of wildlife abounds. It has five superb flood-lit astro-turf courts.

The world class tennis courts at Devonshire Park play host to six major tennis tournaments each year. Every June, international tennis takes place with coverage beamed across the world on TV. Other tennis events include County tennis, junior and veteran events, all free to spectators.
