ADVENTURES IN ENGLISH

This course, for students aged from 7 to 18 years, runs in 5 centres (Bede’s Eastbourne, Lancing, Bede’s Dicker, Windlesham and Vinehall) all of which are reputable boarding schools in the South East of England. Courses run for 2 to 7 weeks. Day Course option is available for students staying in Bede’s Eastbourne with their families from Monday to Saturday 8.30am to 5.00pm.

In the morning, students have English Lessons, taught by qualified teachers, with 20 or 22.5 hrs of English per week in groups of 14 students maximum per class. In the afternoon, there are sports, art, drama and clubs, there is a full programme of entertainment in the evening and there are 2 excursions per week. Sports Academy in small groups is available in Tennis, Football, Horse Riding, Flying, Helicopter Flying, Golf, Rugby and Contemporary Dance. Students sleep in boarding houses on the school campus and share bedrooms of mostly 2-5 beds with students from other countries. At Bede’s Dicker, Lancing and Windlesham students can enrol on a 3 or 4 week PET or FCE examination course.

DANCE & ENGLISH

This programme is for 12 to 17 year olds and takes place at Bede's Dicker. This is an intensive Dance and English tuition course with 20 hours of English tuition and 38 hours of Dance tuition. Previous ballet experience is essential.

DISCOVER CAMBRIDGE

This programme is for 17 to 21 year olds and takes place in Homerton College, Cambridge. There are 25 hours of lessons per week including English Skills, Language Workshops and Working Life Skills. Students may take the TOEIC and IELTS examinations. There are optional evening and weekend social events, sports and trips in which students are encouraged to participate.

DISCOVER LONDON

This programme is for 17 to 21 year olds and takes place in Regent's College, London. There are 25 hours of lessons per week including English Skills, Language Workshops and Academic Seminars. There are optional evening and weekend social events, sports and trips in which students are encouraged to participate.

ACADEMIC PREPARATION

This course for 12 to 17 year olds and is ideal for students interested in an academic programme or for those who are joining a year-round boarding school in September. This intensive programme has 30 hours of lessons per week including English Lessons, Language Workshops and School Subjects studied at pre-GCSE, GCSE or A level.
