Competition Terms and Conditions

1. Prize promoter is Eastbourne Hospitality Association (EHA)
2. The competition is open to everyone aged 18 years or over except employees of Eastbourne Hospitality Association, VisitEastbourne, Eastbourne Chamber of Commerce and Edeal and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation (i.e. suppliers).
3. Proof of age and address may be requested before handing out the prize.
4. Respondents to the East Sussex Tourism Survey between 25 February and 30 March will be eligible to enter the competition.
5. The competition begins at the moment of publishing and ends at 23:59 on 30 March.  Responses after this date will not be included in the prize draw.
6. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
7. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
8. Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.
9. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
10. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
11. Prize is subject to date availability and latest UK government guidelines regarding travel and hospitality in the UK.  Some facilities may be closed.
12. Guests must comply with the relevant Covid-19 restrictions at the time of their stay, including but not limited to, only travelling to/from areas where travel is permitted and ensuring that the number of guests and households are compliant with social distancing restrictions.
13. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
14. Travel expenses are at the winner’s own cost.   
15. Prize must be redeemed within six months of the competition closing.
16. Visa, passport validity and other travel requirements are the winner’s responsibilities.
17. The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other goods and services.
18. Prize is subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute the prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
19. Winner will be chosen at random, from all entries received and verified by Promoter.
20. The winner will be notified via email week commencing 5 April 2021. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 21 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner.
21. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
22. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
23. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and in accordance with our Privacy Policy.  Data will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
24. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with any Social Network.
25. The EHA‘s decision as to those able to take part and selection of winners is final. No correspondence relating to the competition will be entered into.
26. The EHA shall have the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions, such change shall be effective immediately upon posting to this webpage.
27. The EHA also reserves the right to cancel the competition if circumstances arise outside of its control.
28. Prize includes: £200 voucher which can be redeemed at any Eastbourne Hospitality Association (EHA) member.  The winner will be contacted with a list of eligible businesses by EHA. The voucher is redeemable against multiple EHA businesses.
