February half term is fast approaching – here’s some suggestions on trips and activities that everyone can enjoy in Eastbourne and surrounding area.
A herd of colourful elephants are heading to Eastbourne this February half term as Elmer the Elephant and 11 of his friends are coming to town. Eastbourne BID has arranged the colourful FREE trail based on the beloved characters from the David McKee books, inspired by the towns status as a centre of artistic excellence and home to this year’s Turner Prize. Roll-up, roll-up Circus Spectacular comes town on 12 February at The Congress Theatre. With family tickets available this is a show packed with circus acts and lots of laughs – beware those sitting in the front few rows, seats there come with their own rain macs for the finale! Tickets here
The kids will love Aqua Challenge at the Sovereign Centre which returns for the February half term, pre-booking essential. The giant inflatable assault course is ‘wear-em-out fun’, tickets also include fun-pool session.
Ninja Arena is another great in-door treat whatever the weather with a pre-booking discount available on website. An hour in this unique space and your mini-Ninja will be expert at balancing, climbing and swinging from obstacles. A brilliant way to burn-off the half-term energy
An afternoon at Sovereign Harbour is a fun (and FREE!) way to spend time as a family, with paths a plenty it’s a great place for youngsters to practice their skating – why not ‘tire them out’ and extend the stroll to the newly installed kids bike/scooter track located on the seafront a 10-minute walk from the Harbour.
