The soothing balm of June is almost here – the days get longer, the sea gets warmer and it’s time to feel the sun on your face! From tennis to 999 festival there’s so much going on in Eastbourne this June, just read on...

LONGEST DAY - 21st June marks Midsummer’s Day – the longest day of the year, summer solstice, the official start of astronomical summer and if we’re being technical it’s the day when the Earth’s poles are titled toward the sun at its most extreme angle. What better place to welcome the dawn or the dusk of this day than Beachy Head.

LOVE ALL - It’s tennis season at the Devonshire Park with the Rothesay International Tennis Tournament, 22-29 June. There are some tickets still available through Lawn Tennis Association - Online ticket sales (lta.org.uk), alternatively ground passes are available right up until the day to soak up the atmosphere, watch centre court activity on the big screen and still feel part of this international event happening right here in Eastbourne.
