About
A Conjunction of Four, 1894: the year when Thomas Huxley, Shepherd Blackmore, Aleister Crowley and Lewis Carroll visited Beachy Head.
We’ll look at what they were doing here and the kind of lives they led and we’ll consider aspects of their legacies. We’ll explore the topical news of the town and the literature of the age.
Writing exercises will be based on biographies, conjunctions, and the changing landscape.
Please bring a notebook and pen. No experience necessary.
