Travelling by Train?
Getting to Eastbourne by train couldn’t be easier. Southern Railway provide regular, direct services from London Victoria to Eastbourne that take just 90 minutes. From Gatwick Airport, there are also direct services, and these take less than an hour. If you’re travelling along the coast, there are frequent services from Brighton, and the trip will typically take under 40 minutes.

Travelling by Car?
Eastbourne is just 44 miles south of the M25, under an hour from London Gatwick Airport and 20 mins from Newhaven ferry port. If you're travelling in from the West, the A259 is one of the most spectacular scenic routes on the south coast. This is the route that the Brighton & Hove Coaster buses take between Eastbourne & Brighton.

From M25 (west), Heathrow and Gatwick Airports: follow the M23 and A27
From M25 (east), Dartford and Stansted: follow the A22
From the east and Dover / Folkestone / Eurotunnel: follow the A259 (plus A20 or M20/A2070 from Dover)
From the west and Newhaven: follow the A27 or scenic A259
Travelling by Bus?
