Eastbourne Bandstand goes on tour from November
21st October 2021
Eastbourne Bandstand is going on tour from November with the packed programme of events moving to a new venue.
The Welcome Building – in the town’s Devonshire Quarter – will play host to tribute shows and other regular shows previously staged at the Bandstand.
From November until March next year, tribute shows will continue on Friday and Saturday nights and promise something for all the family from Pink Floyd to Little Mix and Robbie Williams to The Sounds of the 60s.
In addition, December will see two Rock Around the Christmas Tree concerts when The Zoots will put on nights of glitz, glitter and cheer - so put on your Santa hats and join Eastbourne’s biggest Christmas party full of festive floor fillers.
Eastbourne Borough Council Lead Member for Tourism and Culture Cllr Margaret Bannister said, “For the first time ever we will be continuing our shows throughout the winter.
“Starting on Friday 5 November, Eastbourne Bandstand is going on tour over at The Welcome Building, just two minutes away from the seafront.
“The council’s new Welcome Building is the perfect backdrop to showcase some of the UK’s top tribute bands which delight audiences here in Eastbourne.
“We look forward to welcoming old and new customers alike to this venue as the Bandstand goes on tour.
“With a collection of some of our most popular shows coming up, take a look at our line-up and book your tickets soon before they sell out.”
Tribute tickets cost £8.95 for adults in advance (child £6.95) and doors open at 7.30pm for 8pm performances. Friends of Eastbourne Bandstand cardholders receive 10% off most ticket prices.
