Free Entry Tickets Available Now for May Motoring Spectacular
14th April 2021
The biggest free motoring event on the South Coast returns to the Western Lawns from 22 – 23 May and registration for free entry tickets is available now!
Showcasing over a century of motoring, classic car enthusiasts can soak up the vintage vibes with vehicles including a Ford Model T from 1925, Porsche 356b Roadster from 1961 and a Dodge Polara from 1964.
Motoring fans can also sample the delights on offer at the event’s street food stalls and Harvey’s bar; enjoy some family fun with the on-site fairground rides and marvel at panoramic views across the town from the neighbouring Eastbourne Eye.
Eastbourne Borough Council Head of Tourism and Enterprise, Annie Wills said “We are delighted to kick off Eastbourne’s 2021 events season with Magnificent Motors, a much loved event for car enthusiasts and families alike.
This year the event will take on a slightly different format, with timed entry slots ensuring that numbers stay within government guidance and to allow for social distancing.
We strongly advise spectators to register for their free entry tickets in advance to ensure quick and fuss-free access to the event as ‘on the day’ availability will be extremely limited.”
A ‘Cars of the Future’ display will complete the century of motoring spectacular featuring some of the latest electric and hybrid vehicles, alongside advice on how to switch to alternative fuel technologies.
As a Covid-Ready event social distancing will be in place, facilitated by timed entry slots and a one way system. Hand sanitiser will be readily available and unless medically exempt, visitors over 16 years of age will be required to wear face masks while at the event site and follow all Government guidelines in place at the time of the event.
Magnificent Motors is situated on the Western Lawns and is open to spectators from 10:00am – 5pm on 22 – 23 May. For more information and to register for your free entry tickets, visit: www.MagnificentMotors.co.uk. Entry to vehicles is now closed and all those who have been successful have been notified.
